all about heaven...

When someone asked you,"‘where is the road to heaven? Can you get me to heaven?” what will you answer? Psychopaths or loonies may say that heaven can be experienced with anyone through a wild .... Some will say that heaven is in angeles city, a three hour drive from manila proper. They are referring to the heaven bar, a night club.

We all have heard the reminder written in the bible that says, ”Strive to enter through the narrow gate of heaven!” “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. (don't know the chapter. verse).

Actually the gate of heaven is wide open. The gate of heaven becomes narrow because of our sinfulness. It’s through our selfishness, it’s because of our greed, it’s because of our insatiable desires that made the gate of heaven narrow for us or better shut closed for us. Furthermore, the treacherous path that leads to destruction is wide and broad that everyone is capable of faltering in it. So when we trim down our frantic concupiscence that tainted our hearts, then we can always readily access our way to the kingdom of God. Death is inevitable. Our lives on earth are preparations for the eternal life. The days of your life pass away like clouds, so do good while you are still alive. There are only two possible destinations when we die… Heaven or hell.

It was also written in the bible (I forgot the exact verse) ”you will not be released until you have paid the last penny”.  So we better make amendments in our life guys. Fix everything that has to be fixed.  Our life story here on earth will be summarized in the end and it will serve as our password to heaven. Our faithfulness to the Decalogue will be our password to heaven or else the big screen will flash out “ACCESS DENIED!”.  Moreover, if we continuously strive to be good, to be honest, to be compassionate, to be kind to everyone, to be forgiving, then a new chapter of our life will be spent in heaven to eternity. That’s a surefire way to access heaven. Our good heart is as almost paradise..

Before entering the gate of heaven St. Peter will ask for your gate pass. Make sure that you have already prepared the requirements, the visas, and your passport to heaven. Because St. Peter is busy. And he does not like to waste time checking invalid requirements. In any government institution, you can easily be employed if you got connection with high ranking gov’t officials But to enter the kingdom of God, you don’t need to have connections, you don’t need to have “backer’ inside.  No one will guarantee your entrance to heaven. You are responsible for you own self.

Your title or your earthly positions will not serve as your passport to heaven. Your lofty status will not make you a candidate to kingdom of God. You can’t say, “St. Peter, here is my international plaque of recognition. Isn’t it impressive? Let me enter the kingdom of God now.” St. Peter will not open the gate if you say, “I am a recipient of a Palanca award. I won the noble prize award in….” You can’t say, “St. Peter I have a fat bank account in Zurich.” Your multi-billion money in Italy will not pave your way to heaven. “St. Peter I got mansions, yachts, wheels, private jet, name it!.  Will that suffice?” I can only imagine St. Peter shaking his head with a smirk on his face when you say that.  Your vast earthly possessions will not save your soul either. It’s all futile as your earthly investments. And after hearing your story about funding charity homes and erecting establishments and institutions that caters the needs of a large habitat of impoverished humanities"St. Peter will say ”Sorry, you can not enter. Next!” Why? Because, yes you funded many charitable institutions but you deprived your cooks, you’re too strict and harsh to your gardeners in terms of monetary compensations they deservedYou denied financial help to your drivers.

There is no chance of buying heaven. to buy heaven is like buying the whole ASIA with play money. There’s no righteous deed that we can do that will earn us a place in heaven. We can only enter heaven through the merits of Christ unfathomable mercy.. Our daily novenas to our patron saint will not make the entrance door of heaven open. Our attendance in every Sunday liturgical celebrations will not make us higher candidate to the kingdom of God. Those religious acts, rituals are just our expressions of love to our God. And God is gracious to share us the privilege in doing that activities. Our everyday rosary is just our expressions of love to our God, because He has been so good to us. When everything has been said and done, we can only say “Lord please be gracious to me. Let me enter Your Kingdom”.

courage guarded by love and wisdom..

Some people think that a courageous person is one who is tough. We sometimes exhort to ourselves that a courageous person is one who punches hard, one who talks loud. But to be brave, to be courageous we need not to inflict pain through our words.

Real courage is not the absence of fear. It’s actually being fearful; fearful to hurt someone’s feelings, fearful to destroy each other reputation. So many graces are lost because of our recklessness. Courage without wisdom is recklessness. Real courage constitutes those of with love not by being abrasive. . Courage is gentleness.

We are not less courageous if we speak softly. We are not less courageous if we opt not to hurt others feelings.
One is not said to be strong if that person has no retreat in hurting people. A courageous person is effortless; effortless in uttering harsh words. You are not coward if you surrender yourself from reciprocating badly for the bad. You are not weak if you have chosen not to spread gossip from the gossip spread against you. To get even with your fellow is not courage itself. Courage is avoiding of crushing the weak with a strong might.

A courageous person is a peace loving person.

do not get tired of doing good..

Sometimes in our life when we do something good we are met with suspicion. When you do a good service, people will spread gossips against you. when you did something good, people will create intrigues against you. Who would like to sow a seed of kindness knowing that you will just only harvest a plentiful accusations and intrigues.

After doing something good to others, you will be attacked with jealousy. Some people will be envious of you. That why a lot of people are determined to give up on being good. They will say “I’m done! I’m fed up. I will not try to be different. I will just be like everyone else. I will not do good service anymore. “

Moreover, we must never get tired of being kind and nice to everyone. We must not choose recipients of our goodness. It seems practical to do goodness to the ones that we knew, can always repay us. A love we shared may never be reciprocated by that person. Of doing good, we may not heap praises but still we must always be a channel of peace, love and kindness. There will always be a prying crowd who will censor our every act, people who will scrutinize our capacity to do good. Familiarity breeds contempt as the adage says...

We must be ready to suffer the consequences of being good. Others find it better to do good in public, where there is a crowd. But crowd or no crowd, applause or no applause, we must continue to do good. There might be no word of gratitude. Even there is no single eye that is watching us; we must still execute an act of kindness. We might be rewarded with malicious suspicion, suspected of hidden agenda or motive. Our best consolation is our Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Omnipresent God.

see Gods majesty in everything

I have nothing to do. i'm done with the laundry. I have no cellphone credits to call up my mom. (zero balance) i could not sleep for insomnia is taking its toll on me. there no farmville gifts to accept. so i will just compose a note..
few hours  ago  while pressing my white uniform, i noticed a dead tiny creeping creature an ant, glued in the fabric. "i committed murder", i immediately thought. it was an accident. Perhaps the poor creature just wanted to say "hi" to me but i have not noticed its presence that i randomly glide the hot iron. well, i just could not initiate CPR to the poor creature. =) reviving it seems to be in vain. :-D bothered how to bury the ant, i placed its corpse to the window glass shield.  i thought of preserving its body but i might get scolded by my bros and sis. just kidding!
Then suddenly, i felt a stingy pain in my elbow. a mosquito (maybe a close friend of that ant :-) bites me to its heart’s content. what a mutual relationship this ant and a vengeful mosquito has. the bloods***r is seeking justice for her dead friend. the flying creature wanted to infect me with its fatal dengue. what did i do? i let the bloods***r fill its tummy with my type O+ blood. then i chaste her vigorously until she will bloat out. i wanted her to experience excruciating appendicitis.  i pursued her like a notorious criminal. but she escaped and hid  like a fugitive. i wasted my time, my effort. well, they are the beautiful creatures of God only a pure heart can notice. only a pure heart can notice Gods wonderful masterpiece in the beauty of flowers.. i marvelled at the magnificence of every creation. See God in every flower. when the goods the oil price hiked as if its too much already to bear, there is God. see God in every individual. see God in every disaster. there is the Lord in every misery. when it rains and pours heavily there's God. there’s a blessing in it. in every season of life, God is with us the fount- source of all blessings
